1- Presentation
These general conditions of use (or “GCU”) concern the geo-trees.org site and the use that “Internet users” who access it will make of it.
Jérôme Chave keeps the right to modify these GCU as he sees fit without having to inform the “Internet users”.
In order to access this site, the “Internet user” must have an adequate terminal as well as an Internet connection, the costs of which will be at his/her expense.

As stipulated in the French law on information technology and freedom (law 78-17 of 6 January 1978), the “Internet user” has the right to read (art. 34 to 38 of the law), modify (art. 36 of the law) and delete data stored on Geo-trees.org. The user has the right to request the correction or deletion of this information by mail to ” GEO-TREES — UMR EDB bâtiment 4R1, 118 route de Narbonne, 31062 Toulouse “. The letter must be accompanied by a photocopy of an identity document in order to prove its identity.

ARTICLE 2: THE DATA OF THE INTERNET USER

1- Personal data
GEO-TREES respects the privacy of the “Internet user”. This is the commitment made in relation to the treatment of the data of the “Internet user” collected through the site Geo-trees.org.

2- Data collected

The personal information of the “Internet user” collected and processed by Geotrees has been collected legally. Indeed, the “Internet user has left through one of our contact forms.
The nature of the data collected is as follows:

– Name
– Email adress
– Organization
– Location
– Message: corresponds to the user’s request

Some information may be collected automatically by the site for security or statistical purposes such as:
– IP address
– the pages consulted by the Internet user
– the duration of his session on Geo-trees.org

3- Processing of various data

The personal information left by the Internet user via one of our forms is processed in order to meet the needs of the latter (an advice, a need for training, a need for support, a question …).
The information collected via cookies is processed for statistical purposes in order to improve the user experience on the Geo-trees.org website. This information is collected through cookies and the user has the right to refuse by changing the configuration of his browser (see 3.3 of this page).

4- Recipients of the Data
The “Internet user” is informed that his personal information may be handed over to the authorities in the event of a court decision requiring this.

The personal data left by the “Internet user” via one of our forms may be processed by GEO-TREES in order to provide the services requested. In certain cases, and when authorized by the Internet user, his/her personal information may be communicated to a partner of Geo-trees.org in order to provide a complementary service that GEO-TREES is not able to provide.

The data of the Internet user is stored on a secure space by SSL encryption certificate to ensure security.

6- Data storage
The personal information of “Internet users” is stored at the OVH host for a period of 5 years.

ARTICLE 3: COOKIES / PRIVACY

1. What is a cookie?
Cookies are files containing data. They are stored on the computer, mobile or tablet of the “Internet user”. They are collected through the Internet browser of the “Internet user” during the navigation on the Geo-trees.org website.

2. The consequences of cookies
You are not identified as a person, only your machine is. These cookies will give us information about your navigation on the site. They can also guarantee the proper functioning of the site.

ARTICLE 4: SIMULATION RESULTS

Our various forms, white papers, examples, and simulators provide services free of charge and their results are for information purposes only. These results have no contractual value. The user is informed of this and must take it into account when using this information.

The results of these simulations may be stored by Geo-trees.org or one of its partners in order to be able to contact the “Internet user” by telephone or via e-mail in order to offer him a service adapted to the needs of the “Internet user” which he will be entitled to refuse. According to the law loi n°2014-344, (Hamon law) of March 17, 2014 and with the article L.223-2 du code de la consommation, the telephone canvassing can be stopped (with the exception of cases or there would be a contractual relation already existing). The “Internet user” can ask for the stop by filling the form below:

The “Internet user” can, if he wishes, register on a list of opposition to telephone canvassing, through the government site Bloctel. However, in the event that he/she leaves his/her contact details on one of the forms on the site voluntarily in order to request a service, Geotrees will be entitled to contact him/her.

ARTICLE 5: CONTINUITY OF SERVICES

The Geo-trees.org website is accessible 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. However, it may be temporarily unavailable in case of technical problems, updates, maintenance…

Geotrees is in no way responsible for any inconvenience caused to the “Internet user” by these interruptions.
The same applies to all the information and services provided on this site, which may be removed or moved without prior warning.
Geo-trees.org holds the right to access or not to access its services and to navigate on its site. In the event of non-compliance with these Terms of Use or in the event of unconventional use of its services, Geo-trees.org may refuse access to an “Internet user”.

ARTICLE 6: APPLICABLE LAW

The present General Conditions of Use are governed by French law. Geo-trees.org and its representatives reserve the right to take legal action in case of fraud or abuse.

ARTICLE 7: INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All editorial content (texts, guides, etc.) and visual content (videos, images, sounds, etc.) on Geo-trees.org are the intellectual property of GEO-TREES.
Any use, modification or reproduction of all or part of the contents of the Geo-trees.org website, without the written consent of GEO-TREES, is strictly prohibited.

Any fraudulent and unauthorized use of the site or its contents will be considered as an infringement and may be subject to legal action in accordance with the Intellectual Property Code, article l’article L.335-2.
